People tend to only hear the part they want to hear. I wholy agree that we should punish those who made bad decision and reward those who make the right ones. The problem is that the current environment, we only reward those who make decisions that profit in the short term, and not care about the future. How does Tri-care work for a dependent that isn't living near a military base?

What is a PNEUMONIA FRONT??

A rare, meteorological phenomenon observed on the western Lake Michigan shoreline during the warm season is the pneumonia front. These fronts are defined as lake modified synoptic scale cold fronts that result in one-hour temperature drops of 16 degrees F or greater. Further knowledge of pneumonia fronts is not only important for the efficiency of commerce (aviation and marine), but also essential for sensible weather forecasts for the dense population base along the Lake Michigan coast. Examining surface temperature data from Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin resulted in a set of 25 cases from the period 1948 through 2003. Further investigation of these cases resulted in the identification of two main synoptic patterns coincident with pneumonia front events. ysis suggests that these synoptic patterns are necessary but not sufficient in the forecasting of the pneumonia front phenomenon. Mesoscale controls of pneumonia front events were examined through the use of a simple model, and sensitivity simulations of a specific event (17 July 2003) using the PSU-NCAR mesoscale model (MM5). The simple advection model showed the following: reduced roughness over a north-south lake allows for stronger impact in the southern lake and shoreline; zonal and northwest-southeast cold fronts are more conducive for pneumonia front cases; and colder lake temperatures in the north increase the near-shore temperature gradient and frontal propagation. The results of the MM5 sensitivity tests suggested the following in regards to the 17 July 2003 pneumonia front: orography had little influence on pneumonia front generation and maintenance; temperature falls relating to the pneumonia front were strongly dependent upon landm diurnal heating; and Lake Michigan surface water temperatures impacted pneumonia front strength. The insights gained from this research should allow operational forecasters to reliably ess the likelihood of pneumonia front events in the short-range.

Or would you say, "well, I gave you your life and I gave you free will along with it so do what you want Jr. but daddy's not jumping in to save you and getting his trousers wet". We can probably ume that you'd jump in and save Jr., not worrying about the trousers or the free will thing. Taking all of this into consideration, do you think that we deserve to die for our actions? I was hired a month ago for a position I was dying for. I was so happy when I got it. (It took them 2 months to bring me aboard) I have an important court hearing(custody case) in August that I need to attend to and I have a family trip coming up in October. I put in my requests for the days I needed off on Tuesday. I knew my August day off would be an issue because it is so close plus I was on a 90 day probation period. I was pulled in the office yesterday and was told because I was new she would not grant me the time off, I explained to her I can not miss my court date and my family trip was already preplanned and could not be cancelled. I also advised her that the trip was 4 months away and not during my probation period, my boss then told me she still could not approve it. I have never worked for a company that didn't approved time off (paid or not) especially when it is done in so much in advance, some people told me I should have waited to request the time off but I didn't want to wait a month prior especially if I know now. I only found out that about the court date two weeks ago. She asked me why I didn't mention it in the interview I told her we interviewed in April I had no idea that no.1 it was going to take 2 months to bring me aboard (when I would follow up after my interview they kept pushing back the hire date each week every time I called they would say next week) and that no. 2 an event in October would be an issue since the date is so far away and that I did not know about the court date until two weeks ago. She told me she would grant me the time off the court date since it was court but she didn't want to, After she said that I told her I had to resign. She said it was my choice and I said no you are making it my choice. She said she also had an issue with me coming in 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, I just walked out. I was not going into coming in earlier than scheduled I thought that was a good thing. I didn't understand why she wouldn't approve the time off even though it was after my probation period. How do one handle not getting time approved off at a job and being too punctual?

Prismacolor pencils: DO NOT BUY THEM?

Hey.Take my advice or not,but I bought the prismacolor markers and pencils. As a result, the markers are super-natural, they were so good that some people thought I digitally colored my art. However,when I bought the pencils they were full of sshhiitt. It specificly says on the box: Strong thick leads that resist breakage, but however these pencils brake more than a 12 pack of crayola colored pencils. They are not much of a change from any cheap colored pencils. The only difference is that the lead feels smoother,but they don't draw/write as smooth as they claim. This product was just a way for the prismacolor to make easy money from dumb art crazed people to buy them. Yes, I was one of those people and I learned from my mistake. If you are a realistic artist then these pencils may be good for you, but if you draw manga/comics etc. PLEASE I ADVISE YOU TO BUY THE MARKERS THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! Can a property management company refuse to process an application because of a dismissed shoplifting charge?

13 years ago I went to a Wal-Mart with two friends; one of which, unbeknownst to me, pocketed some makeup. After checking out and walking through the front doors, all three of us were "apprehended", questioned and subsequently charged with 5th degree theft, a misdemeanor. The charge against me (and the other non-participating friend) was dismissed after the security camera showed that I wasn't involved in the crime but it still shows on my record. I have absolutely no criminal record outside of that and, in fact, have obtained an insurance license and been trusted with highly confidential information for the past 7 years. However, I recently applied for an apartment at a local rental community and they chose "to stop processing" my application due to the dismissed theft charge. Their rental policy (which is on the back of the app) states that persons with criminal convictions may be denied but states nothing about dismissed charges. I'm a bit upset about the situation because the incident was nothing more than the clic not-truly-knowing-your-friends scenario and it occurred when I was a teenager. I'm a grown adult now with a solid employment and rental history and this is the first time the dismissed charge has caused any negative consequences. My question is: can the property management company stop processing my application even though I meet the criteria of their rental policy?

Is the first day of kindergarten supposed to be this way?

Okay... I am raising my 5 year old grandson. Today was his first day of kindergarten. It was a little stressful this morning as we walked out to find a FLAT tire. I honestly hid my frustration, concern, etc... as best I could (for his sake). I called my co-worker and she picked us up and I brought him to his clroom. It took about 5-8 minutes of reurance and the teacher finally took control so I was able to leave. He tells me that sometimes and I understand-- I know I hate it when someone goes on and on. Anyhow, he has been so grumpy and disobedient this evening. I have had to discipline him several times already. Finally, I had to give myself a "time out". I had to remind myself that he has had a big day and he is probably very tired. I tried to explain to him that I understood that this was a big day for him and I knew he was tired but that his behavior was not acceptable. I am 20 and currently on medicaid. I use to have a health insurance like HIP and I feel like, because I have medicaid that I am getting less medical help from doctors than if I had another health insurance company. I'm bipolar and part of my medicine regimen is antidepressants. They CAN cause side effects. I have learned the hard way that I can't take most antidepressants. You should not have any significant health issues while taking them. If you notice that your depression is getting worse, then you have to stop taking it. Of course, you'll want to tell the doctor this. If you need them, please take them. If you leave it untreated, it will get worse and if you sink too low, it's really hard to crawl back out of it.

ok so i have smoked marijuana since i was 15 and now i am 24 years old.....many times when i smoke marijuana and i look into the mirror i get a distorted effect of my self image....when im stoned and look at my face my eyebrows look ugly and repelling to me (which makes me feel like it ruins my overall look).....it also seems as if they are a little more asymmetrical....then the next morning when i wake up ill look into the same exact mirror with the same lighting i have a much more positive perception of my eyebrows and overall face.....ive asked a few friends and no1 else that i talked to can relate to me.....can anyone else relate?.....is this a distorted perception or can this be a more clearer perception of reality because ive heard marijuana can give u heightened and more clear perception....or is it just because there is a personality change when i smoke and therefore gives me this altered view..any insight? anyone else have this experience?

How can I save my system?

I've lost my "Windows root>/system 32/hal.dll." My system is over six(6) yrs.old. It was manufactured with "Window XP Home",and upgraded to "Windows XP Professional". I'm told the manufactor no longer produces the recovery disc for the Hareware Abstraction Layer. And because of the upgrade, the initial file no longer exist within my system. take the old meds back to your vet. they should be able to switch them out for you for the proper dose. you never want to play around with giving too little heartworm medication. and as far as worrying about giving too much, you would have to give more than an entire box to cause problems, but not enough is just that. not enough. better to be safe than sorry. you could also double up on your prevention until you can exchange the product.

What happened to my ear?

my ear was hurting for about a week. Pain was not too bad, but it bothered me after a few days. a few days later, i was sitting on the couch. And all of a sudden..BOOM! my ear felt like it closed up and my hearing got completely deaf. I was able to pull on my ear, then my hearing came back. Then my hearing would go out again. Pain was starting to get pretty harsh. The next day, my ear still started closing up, but now, i had to put my thumb in my ear and yank it out in order to get my hearing back. my hearing was fine, untill that night, it closed up again, and i couldnt retrieve it. i tried over and over. Then, the pain was incredibly bad. i didnt sleep that whole night. the next day i went to the doctor and he said i had swimmers ear, but i cant find anywhere on the internet where it says it completely inpairs your hearing. then i ran over "perforated eardrum" which does impair hearing and bleeds. but my ear does not bleed. The next day the pain was even worse. i was in extreme agony nearly screaming at the top of my lungs. The next day, after taking medicine, my pain is a little less. And now, my pain is almost completely soothed, and the swelling has deflated mostly. But my hearing is still completely impaired. What's happened?

Could having a brain injury cause you to have some gifts?

I have CP from birth. And, this is going to sound weird and maybe even fake, but I can read really really fast with 100% comprehension. Usually when people hear fast, they think like 1,000 wpm or something, which is for sure a good rate. But, I can read at 5,000-7,000 wpm. I look at the 1st and last letter of each line and that "counts" as reading it for some reason. I don't know if this works for "normal" people or is it some kind of gift. The thing is, with my CP I have a learning disability with memory and have to read things many times to remember it. But, reading slow never helped. It's like I remember just as well as 200wpm as I do at 6,000 wpm. I obviously understand what I am reading because I take "comprehension" test and score perfectly on them after 10-15 reads. I am just wondering if this is some kind of "gift" or is it normal to be able to read so fast and still comprehend. It's funny now because reading it 10-15 times at this rate is about that amount of times if takes to the average person to read it 1-3 times. WHich is awesome for me since I am going back to school.

Why would anyone get stocking seams tattooed on their legs?

I saw a girl in the mall with them. She was wearing cut off shorts and flip-flops so I could see that she even had the keyhole or finishing loop at the top tattooed on. She even had a tattoo of the heel treatment! Why not just wear seamed stockings everyday if you wanted to, like I do. Honestly, having muscular legs is a good thing. The reason why you have 'bulky' legs now is because of sports, so if you want to have slimmer looking legs, quit sports. Pretty much if you want to have legs like Giselle you have to minimize food and minimize rigorous exercises. I have been in varsity sports since my junior year and high school and before I didn't have muscular legs but as the years ped my legs got stronger, harder, and larger and I have to say I think I got more guys looking at my legs after they became toned with muscle. I think you should ignore your sisters and tell them to get over themselves because they're just jealous.

1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse boost creep and fuel cut?

so this girl (Lauren) i met over 2 years ago and have been dating for almost 6 months now.she is AMAZING! probably one of the most amazing people you would ever meet. Lauren suffers from Pulmonary Hypertension and this past year her PH has gotten worst. (pulmonary hypertension is where you have high blood presser in your heart making it difficult to pump blood into the lungs to become oxygenated. she can barley walk from cl to cl without getting to tired. it is not only rare but incurable and life threatening.) for the last week she has been in the hospital because of her PH. Seeing her in the hospital, makes me feel horrible i cant take it. its not fare that she has to go through this. I honestly don't know how much longer i can take it. I don't know how to be there for her. how would you be there for someone that is going through something like this?

well first of all...i have a small baby ball python that i just got like a week ago at a pet shop...its more than a foot but less than 2 ft long...idk if its a he/she yet...but i was checking up on him a few mins ago to see how he was doing, i lifted up his hidin and petted him smoothly and so after that i tried setting down the hidin on top of him/her again and i accidentally layed one of the edge of his hidin on his boddy and he moved his head as he was laying there like a ball....so i raised it up and checked if it was ok and it was and so he moved away and i tried petting it again and it moved his body in a way like pushing my hand off him and so i was like wtf??...and i was scared it might strike...and it just started flickering his tounge rapidly and stood still and strong...and so my question is..WAS IT TRYING TO BITE ME? When I asked at the shop what to use they said 80W-90 gear oil for the manual transmission and differentials. According to my Haynes I can use this in the differentials but the trans says 75W-90. Can I still use the 80W in my trans? I've heard it's fine to use the same in both. Thanks ahead of time.

I have had a very difficult time getting over Michael Jackson's death. I grew up with listening to his music and I always thought he was the best artist. I was really looking forward to his "This Is It" tour. He is so different than all those other artists. He would tell his fans how much he loved them and I knew he meant it. I really didn't expect to feel this way after he died. I still cry from time to time about him. I just watched the new version of "We are the World" and it showed a clip of him. Hi im not gettin any fire to fuel pump, I added a line from the hot wire to the fuel pump and it worked but in the wiring diagram it says that the fuel pump oil pressure switch is next in line, possibly causing it not to fire. On Thanksgiving of 2002 my wife cooked a turnip (rutabaga) to go with our dinner. While she was cooking it I noticed that it did not have the pungent odor that I was used to.
