Is it bad or not good for health to take a depression medicine?

I'm bipolar and part of my medicine regimen is antidepressants. They CAN cause side effects. I have learned the hard way that I can't take most antidepressants. You should not have any significant health issues while taking them. If you notice that your depression is getting worse, then you have to stop taking it. Of course, you'll want to tell the doctor this. If you need them, please take them. If you leave it untreated, it will get worse and if you sink too low, it's really hard to crawl back out of it.
