Do southern rappers feel justified in the hip hop that they make?

In other words, do you think that some of these artists are actually making the garbage that they do because it's honestly where their heart is? I know us fans of real hip hop are all about rapping for the love and what you love, but i think there are people who genuinely love money. Southerners are always rapping about money and material items, and will literally replace the teeth they were born with for diamonds, it's become engraved ingrained into their culture, so are they rapping about life as they know it??? And if so, what does that say about the quality of life in the south? Their culture used to be about taking it easy and enjoying life, not being the biggest flashing idiots
