Christians, would you still be against gay marriage if it said it was OK in the bible?

If there were NO pages that prohibited gay marriage in the bible, would you still want to legislate bans on marriage? What if marriage had previously always included gay marriage, and thus by allowing gays you would not have to redefine it (it would have always been allowed in our country's history)?
