Does God say men are better than women in the bible or does Paul ?

I'm wondering, I asked a similar question, and people said it's in the bible, where Paul says women should not be in the priesthood........even if paul did say it, so what ? paul is not God the last time i checked right......so it comes down to is paul's word worth more than God's words ?
