Will it be a blast watching the mandate kick in for those with pre-existing conditions?

When someone with a pre-existing condition is mandated to purchase health insurance and is approved to do so due to the bill that ped, will they feel elated to pay what will prob cost them $1000/month for coverage, considering there's nothing in the bill that says the insurance companies have to give them any discounts, and their price will be set according to their projecting medical costs? Will they still be cheering and bowing to the Messiah or will they say "hey, wait a minute" lol.
