Sinful human nature, that's all. It's the same streak of rebellion or perversity that makes you deliberately type words incorrectly. With you, it makes you insist on spelling things your way, even when it is wrong; in them, it comes out as rudeness. They also know it's wrong and persist for much the same reason you do.
