Why does an infinite God need to be worshiped by impudent mortal beings?

Would you want your dog to bite you every time you looked at it? Would you want to live your lifetime in a house full of people who hated you? No, God does not need our worship, but we need to worship Him. He is the Creator and the one who gives life. Don't take God lightly like a kid on you block who is one of us. He is Holy and gives grace to those who sincerely desire it. If you want to do good works, do it out of love, not out of feel good.
